LEADER at the Ploughing Championships
This year the 76th National and World Ploughing Championships takes place in Annaharvey Farm, Tullamore, Co. Offaly from September 25th - 27th.
Once again, LEADER will take have a big presence with the Craft and Food Villages being among the major attractions at the event.
In it's second year, the LEADER Food Village will have 34 gourmet food stands with a wide variety of mouth watering food products from delicious hand made chocolates to tasty farm house cheeses, fresh apple juice, mouth watering breads and cakes and delicious gourmet sausages.
The cream of Irish food from small food producers supported by the LEADER programme will be sure to draw huge crowds to the event.
Once again a food crèche will be in place so shoppers can be assured that their purchases are kept in the best conditions while they visit the rest of the show before collecting on their way home.

The LEADER Craft Village continues to grow and this year will feature the biggest marquee yet with 54 craft producers from the 4 corners of Ireland selling a range of craft products from .. Supported by local LEADER companies, rural crafts are a significant feature of the LEADER programme. Craft producers return to the LEADER Craft Village at the Ploughing Championships year after year confirming it as one of the major craft exhibitions in the annual calendar.
